Subject description: trying to make a CSS drop down menu work in TV

Hello world,

I am a total newbie to TYPO3 so please go easy on me. I've learnt a lot except how to make menus with a TemplaVoila template.

I want to do 2 things, have a menu that drops down on hover over to show other options, and add an automatic breadcrumb.

I've read the manuals but I still don't understand what to do.

So, I have an HTML template that works well with the menu using <div><ul><li><ul><li> to make the 2 level menu. If I upload it and view it, it works fine. If I map to it in TV, the menu is there but the drop down options don't work. How do I resolve this?

I've added no TS since I don't know how to relate the TS to the TV template mapping.

Also, at the head of every page I want an automatically expanding breadcrumb trail, how do I do that.

Thank you for reading.

Jasper
