I'm a starter with Typo3 so this may seem very elementary.
Can anyone help me with configuring Image upload for non-administrators?
It seems that the only way a BE user can upload images is to have admin status. When I set All permissions on a BE user and use the RTE and the Install image option - the dialog box that opens is pointed at my local drive with a place to enter a URL. There is no magic image dialog, no thumbnails and no access to the T3 server.
From what I can see everything on the user permissions are the same but only the admin gets the Image Magic dialog with thumbnails
Any help appreciated

I have the same problem and no idea how to fix it. I checked all scripts that have isAdmin() functions and still nothing. Anyone have the same problem? Or anyone know where is this set? Please help ...  |

Did you enable the option "Enable images in the RTE" in the RTE?
Did you enable file->file list in the acl of the user groups? |

| Yes - all is enabled. And even when I give someone admin priviledges it ain't workin. Only admin user can insert images. Maybe it's some bug? |
