 Changing the size of the select object for be users

Im building up an intranet an during this time plenty of different usergroups came along. And now, for a better handling, I'd like to have a bigger list viewing the available usergroups.
I've found the source file where this list will be generated. Is there an other way to ajust the size
thx for any advice ore help
