How do i add a page counter and web site statistics?

TYPO3 has a built in counter for every page. TYPO3 counts all visits, so if you visit a page 10 times from the same URL it will count that as ten visits. To access the page statistics:

Click on the "Page" module and then select the page you want to analyze

From the drop down menu choose "Page information" ("Columns" is the default setting) - see picture

You have to have the extrension "Simple hit statistics" ext key - sys_stat installed first.
