I sent an email to Kasper and wonder of wonders I got a reply a few weeks later. He says that the version that mentions NewAge publicatons is outdated and should be disregarded, that page has now been removed. His stated personal wishes (and of many in the developers team) are:

"... that TYPO3 is not used to spread material that is against the moral teaching of the Bible and the human rights. Especially I would be sad to see TYPO3 being used for pornographic material ..."

This is totally cool with me and actually something I would not have used Typo3 for anyway. So its all much ado about nothing. My apologies for the fuss.

I hope this board will grow because support is badly needed for Typo3. As can be seen by using the comparison on [url]cmsmatrix.org[/url], Typo3 rivals any expensive commercial cms and is the best open source cms out there.

I'm glad you were able to resolve that issue, thanks for clarifying it for anyone else that may come along with the same question.

To echo your statements: Typo3 is a great CMS and deserves to get more exposure (very few people have heard of it here in the US), and better support (through places like this forum). I'm still a bit of a newbie with Typo3, but I'm looking forward to helping out here when I can.
