I cannot log into the backend admin area
Subject description: cannot log in to the admin error |

I have just installed typo3
After attempting to log in to the backend first I recieved the error about the allowing the referrer . I made that change in the "all configuration" in the install tool
Now I am getting the following message:
ERROR: File not written to disk! Write permission error in filesystem?
I am in safemode? could that be the problem?
I have searched the documentation and the forum but can't seem to find any info.
Thanks.
Help me! I sure would like to be able to use Typo3. |

directory is chmod correctly

Thanks, the directory is chmod 777
This is the reply that I recieved from my hosting co. Can anyone answer this question.
What I would suggest is find out what permissions the script requires and look if there are any known issues with the script and suexec and safe_mode being off.
Thanks,

In the directory typo3temp are two subdirectories (llxml and cs).
Delete these two directories, recreate them and chmod them to 777. |
